Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game was first published in 1987, after the original trilogy of movies was completed. Now it will live again, as a limited-edition slipcase set containing the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and The Star Wars Sourcebook as hardbound books. The books include the original game rules, information, and graphic presentation, printed on high quality paper and shrink-wrapped in a slipcase featuring the original cover art.
The Anniversary Edition will include a foreword by Pablo Hidalgo. There are very few other alterations to the original version other than updated photos, pieces of concept art and advertisements, but all were carefully designed to match the style of the original book. MSRP is $59.95.FFG Publishing 30th Anniversary Edition
