Panini will launch a trading card game based on the Attack on Titan anime, ICv2 has learned. The game, powered by the Meta-X engine that Panini is using for its Justice League TCG (see "Green Lantern Joins 'Meta-X Justice League TCG'"), will launch in early March 2018.
The product configuration at launch will be a two-player Starter Set (with Survey Corps vs. Titans) and booster packs. The Starter Set will be priced higher than the Meta-X Justice League TCG starter because of its different configuration, and boosters will be priced the same.
Attack on Titan is one of the top anime properties; it’s also been a regular on ICv2’s Top 10 Manga Franchises chart (see "Top 10 Manga Franchises – Spring 2017").
