Knight Models will release a new rules set for its popular Batman Miniature Game this fall.

The Second Edition Batman Miniature Game Rulebook will arrive in September. It will include streamlined mechanics, more intuitive rules, and lots of hard-to-find rules and Traits in one tome. Every model from the current game will be compatible with the new rules, and existing expansion books (such as the recently released Arkham Knight Campaign Book, see “'Arkham Knight Campaign Book'”) will sync as well.

One of the highlights that Knight has teased for the new rules is the restructuring of crews in the game.  The configuration of crews remains the same: Bosses, Sidekicks, Free Agents, ect; but affiliation and alliances have been expanded.  For example: Batman, Green Arrow, and Law Forces are now a single crew: The Brave and the Bold. So now Flash (New 52) can work with Arrow (TV Series), and Nightwing can act as a crew’s Boss. The Poison Ivy crew has been renamed Gotham City Sirens, and players can now field a crew with the Arkham City versions of Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. The Organized Crime crew also gets an overhaul, allowing Gotham’s mobsters to form powerful alliances, because they may hate each other, but they hate Batman more!  Also, the Mad Hatter’s rank is changing from Leader to Free Agent, so he can align himself with any villainous crew he chooses.

Knight will support the relaunch with new miniatures, including new starter sets, a new Bane figure and a new Joker Crew (see gallery below!)
