Funimation Productions has released its schedule of DVD releases through February, and it includes the first volume from the new series Kiddy Grade, which debuts on February 10.  The digitally animated series from Studio Gonzo is packed with action, intrigue, and gorgeous character designs (see 'Funimation Gets Kiddy Grade').  The first volume in the series, which is rated 13+, will be available in a regular edition ($24.98) and in a Starter Set ($34.98), which comes in a limited edition (5000) collector's box, which can accommodate the entire series, and also includes a Kiddy Grade embroidered baseball cap.

In December Funimation is also releasing the first volume of the live action Ultraman Tiga series.  The good news for otaku is that it won't be the version seen on TV. Funimation is only releasing the uncut, subtitled Ultraman Tiga that fans have been awaiting.  The Ultraman Tiga DVD, which contains the first four episodes of the series, will also be available in two editions, a regular version ($34.98) and a Starter Set ($39.95), which includes a collector's box and a special Ultraman Tiga T-Shirt as well as the first DVD volume of the series.
