Torson Up at Dark Horse, Lemke to 'PW'

Kari Torson has been promoted to Director of International Licensing at Dark Horse, the company announced. Torson has held the position of Manager of International Licensing at Dark Horse for the past three years. Prior to that she worked in rights management at HarperCollins and in foreign rights at Penguin Random House.
Meg Lemke has been appointed Graphic Novel Reviews Editor at Publishers Weekly. In that role Lemke will replace Heidi MacDonald, who’s left Publishers Weekly in conjunction with her new efforts at The Beat, which was recently acquired by Lion Forge Sister Company Syndicated Comics LLC (see “Heidi Sells The Beat”). Lemke is the chair of Comics & Graphic Novels Programming Committee at the Brooklyn Book Festival, and has been a speaker at the ICv2 Conference (see “Comic, Graphic Novel, and Digital Thought Leaders Gather at ICv2 Conference”).
