Silver Sprocket, a San Francisco publisher, record label and art collective, has announced its comic and graphic novel releases for the first half of 2018, including titles from Carolyn Nowack, Tom Neely, Ben Passmore, and Rachel Dukes.

Michael Sweater’s syndicated webcomic Please Keep Warm, shares stories of friendship, dealing with depression, finding a place in the world, and sometimes black metal. This collection includes the complete story arc and takes readers a full year ahead of the strips currently running on Instagram and VICE. The 108-page softcover has an MSRP of $20.00. Release is planned for March 28. Sweater’s Silver Sprocket debut Please Destroy My Enemies will be reprinted in full color in April.

Carolyn Nowak (Lumberjanes) explores the nature of desire in the new adult one-shot comic No Better Words. Using poetry and magical realism she explores the worlds of lust, insecurity and connection. The 28-page comic releases on March 28.

Ben Passmore’s Daygloayhole will be Silver Sprocket’s first serialized comic book miniseries. Passmore was nominated for an Eisner Award last year, and won an Ignatz Award for Your Black Friend. Now in Daygloayhole he explores the post-apocalypse of irradiated deserts, clouds of sentient porn magazines, and mutant police in a mix of punk nonsense, gore, and political commentary.  The four-issue series launches in April.

Ivy Atoms’ Pinky & Pepper Forever is a dark comedy following two puppygirls’ relationship that extends beyond “till death do us part.” Pepper is so upset by her girlfriend Pinky’s death that she follows her… to Hell. Where Pinky is doing just fine. Release is planned for May.

Jenn Woodall’s Girls is a meditative look at domestic violence, gender expression, and street harassment. Release is planned for May.

Tom Neely (Henry & Glenn Forever, The Humans) presents an experimental project of “poetry as comics” in Unfinished. Release is planned for May.

Neely has another project releasing this year from Silver Sprocket, the erotic, kink-positive sketchbook EXXXS. Release is planned for June.

Other upcoming titles include Michael Sweater’s Please Destroy the Internet which will release on January 17. Ben Passmore’s Your Black Friend and Other Strangers HC and Rachel Duke, Lo, Andy Warner’s No Gods, No Dungeon Masters will release on February 28.
