Adds Features for High-Value, Unique Cards

Online marketplace TCGPlayer is moving into the top end of the collectible card market by adding features for high-value and unique cards to its site. In the past, sellers have had to use the photos from the TCGPlayer database; when the new features are implemented on January 31, sellers will be able to upload their own photos to display the exact condition of their graded cards. Sellers will be able to add unique items such as signed cards, alters, misprints, miscuts, and rare Funko Pops.
The move offers an alternative for retailers that previously have primarily used eBay to sell high end products. In another move to enhance its competitiveness, TCGPlayer will cap commissions at $50 for high end products.
