Dynamite Entertainment is continuing the saga of Bill Mantlo and Jackson Butch Guice’s Swords of the Swashbucklers. The new adventures from writer Marc Guggenheim (X-Men Gold,Spider-Man) and artist Andrea Mutti (Rebels, Pathfinder) will kick off in April with the release of Swashbucklers: The Saga Continues #1.
Dynamite turned to Kickstarter to reprint the original adventures from Mantlo and Guice (see "Dynamite Bringing Back 'Sword of the Swashbucklers'"), which were released on Marvel’s Epic imprint in the 1980s. The hardcover, which collects the OGN, all 12 issues of the series, and bonus content, will be in stores on February 28. The new adventures pick up decades after the events of the original series, as Captain Raader and her spacefaring crew take to the cosmos once again.
