In Criminy, a family is on the hunt for a safe home after pirates invade their island and they’re cast out into the world as refugees. Ferrier writes the tale, while Langridge picks up the brush for the humorous absurdist tale.
Both Ferrier and Langridge are well-versed in fare for younger readers. Eisner-winner Langridge has worked on Popeye and The Muppet Show, and he released his own kid-friendly title, Abigail and the Snowman, with KaBOOM! (see “'Abigail and the Snowman'”). Ferrier has written the comic book tie-in for Nickelodeon’s Rocko’s Modern Life (see “Kids' Comics Roundup: Rocko Comes to Comics”), as well as Regular Show and Bravest Warriors, for KaBOOM!.All-Ages Fun From Dark Horse
