Marvel Comics is releasing several collections of material starring anti-hero Venom ahead of the Sony Pictures feature starring Tom Hardy.

Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection: Venom (Volume #18 in the Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collections), is written by Ann Nocenti, David Michelinie, Tom Defalco and others; with art by Cyndy Martin, Alex Saviuk, Todd McFarlane, Mark Bagley and more. It includes Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #295-310 and Annual #22, Web of Spider-Man (1985) #33 And Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man (1976) #133. The 504-page trade paperback has an MSRP of $39.99. The collection releases on August 29.

Venom: Planet of the Symbiotes is written by David Michelnie and drawn by various artists. Eddie Brock is overwhelmed by the influence of his “other,” so he splits himself from the symbiote. But that causes a full-scale alien invasion.  Now Eddie must team with Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider to save the planet by traveling to the symbiote world. Collects material from Amazing Spider-Man Super Special, Spider-Man Super Special, Venom Super Special, Spectacular Spider-Man Super Special and Web of Spider-Man Super Special. The 128-page paperback has an MSRP of $15.99. Release is planned for September 5.

Venom Adventures Digest is written by Fred Van Lente and Joe Caramagna, and drawn by Michael O’Hare, Corey Hamscher and others. Collecting Marvel Adventures Spider-Man (2005) #21, #24 and #35; and Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man #16 and #19, this volume recounts the time Spider-Man somehow got a new black-and-white costume, and it’s alive, and doesn’t want to come off. When Parker divests himself of the symbiote, it finds Eddie Brock, and Venom is born. The 112-page packerback has an MSRP of $9.99. Release is September 12.

Venom by Cullen Bunn: The Complete Collection collects the writer’s full run on the symbiotic superhero. It includes Venom (2011) #23-42 and #27.1, Minimum Carnage: Alpha and Omega and Scarlet Spider (2012) #10-11. The 536-page trade paperback has an MSRP of $39.99. Release is September 12.

Venom: Tooth and Claw is written by Larry Hama, Lee Kamiski, and Ivan Velez, and drawn by multiple artists. It includes Venom: Tooth and Claw #1-3, Venom: On Trial #1-3, Venom: License To Kill #1-3, Venom: Seed Of Darkness #-1, Venom: Sign Of The Boss #1-2, Spider-Man: The Venom Agenda and Venom: The Finale #1-3. The 408-page trade paperback collection has an MSRP of $39.99. It releases on September 12.

Venom Vol. 4: The Nativity by Mike Costa and drawn by Javi Garron follows Eddie Brock back in action. The symbiote’s metabolic disorder has been cured, but his recent crimes won’t just go away. Spider-Woman is on his tail. Collects Venom (2016) #161 And #164-165, Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #362-363, and Venom 30th Anniversary Variants. The 112-page collection has an MSRP of $15.99. It releases on September 12.

Marvel is also releasing a new printing of Venom by Daniel Way: The Complete Collection.  Written by Daniel Way, it features are by Francisco Herrera, Paco Medina, Sean Galloway and Skottie Young. The volume collects Venom (2003) #1-18. The 424-page trade paperback has an MSRP of $34.99. Release is scheduled for September 19.
