Addressing fans while attending ACE Seattle Comic Con, Holland apologized for not having any news, and then casually flashed his iPad, saying he was reading the script for the sequel. The title read Spiderman: Far From Home.
The film opens in theaters on July 5, 2019 (see "Best in Shows--Q3 2019"). Jake Gyllenhaal will be playing the villain Mysterio (see "Jake Gyllenhaal to Attend Spider-Man's Second 'Homecoming'?").
