Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment are offering retailers and librarians event kits to commemorate The Walking Dead’s 15th Anniversary on October 13.

Image and Skybound announced plans for "The Walking Dead Day" in May (see "'The Walking Dead' Get Its Own Day").  Now it will add a swag kit which will include Walker masks, buttons, posters, bookmarks and a special Walking Dead Day giveaway issue by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard with a new cover re-colored by Dave McCaig.  The issue will include four short stories featuring Michonne, The Governor, Tyrese, and Morgan. [Editor’s Note: This appears to be a reissue of the Free Comic Book Day Special from 2013.]

Retailers and librarians can fill out a form on the Diamond Book Distributors site.  The order deadline is Friday, July 6.

The kit will contain:

• Walking Dead Day 1" Button Packs (Pack of 25)
• Walking Dead Day Event Post Cards (Pack of 25)
• Walking Dead Day Bookmarks (Pack of 50)
• Walking Dead Day Poster (18” x 24”, 4/0, folded down to 9” x 12”)
• Walking Dead Day Special giveaway comic (bundle of 25)
• Walking Dead Day Bandana Mask (bundle of 25)

Comic stores were also offered a "Walking Dead Day Kit Opt In" in the Previews catalog (JUN180296) containing postcards, bookmarks and a window cling.  Additional items (open/close sign, counter mat, buttons) were also offered in May previews.

Comic store owners will also be able to order The Walking Dead 15th Anniversary Blind Bag Variant Issues (see "Collectible Blind Bag Issues for 'The Walking Dead' Day").
