Legendary filmmaker and comic writer Jodorowsky (The Incal, Metabarons) will partner with illustrator Jose Ladronn (Cable, Incredible Hulk) to produce a sequel to Jodorowsky’s cult classic film, El Topo. El Topo was a amoral bandit, until is desert journeys brought him religious enlightenment. Reborn as a saint able to perform miracles, he left behind his first-born son, Cain, and later fathered another boy, Abel. Cain, left without his father and yet unable to kill him, sets his sights on his half-brother Able with a plan of revenge.
The 64-page hardcover graphic novel has an MSRP of $19.99. Release is planned for December.
