Since 2012, Valiant has sent representatives from its sales team to visit stores, and on average visits 100 different retailers a year. With the #ValiantVisits initiative, the publisher will let fans know where they will be appearing, and promote stores that carry their line. These visits can be in conjunction with a local convention* or for an individual store visit.
*Mel Caylo, Valiant Entertainment Director of Marketing, told ICv2 that if a retailer is exhibiting at a convention, the publisher will partner with them by supplying Valiant product on consignment, and sent a staffer to help them sell that product at the show.
