Osprey Games, a division of Osprey Publishing, has revealed the illustrators for its upcoming Judge Dredd: The Cursed Earth card game, and shared two exclusive images with ICv2.com.
Judge Dredd: The Cursed Earth is based on Peer Sylvester’s game Lost Expedition. Osprey Games acquired a license from Rebellion and Osprey Games Developer Duncan Molloy paired the game system with iconic characters from the 2000AD comics (see "'Judge Dredd: The Cursed Earth' Card Game"). Release is planned for February and MSRP is tentatively set at $35.00.
Now Osprey has revealed that Dredd illustrators Rufus Dayglo (2000 AD, Tank Girl, Judge Dredd Megazine) and Dan Cornwell (2000AD, Rok of the Reds) are providing new commissioned, full-color art for the game. Dayglo will provide the game’s cover art as well as character and adventure card art. Cornwell will provide art for character, adventure, and landscape cards.
"Rufus and Dan have been a joy to work with, bringing that classic Dredd feel to the game," said Game Developer Duncan Molloy, "I think fans of Dredd’s world will love what they’ve done with the place."
