Hellboy Day will celebrate the anniversary of the Right Hand of Doom, introduced in Hellboy: Seed of Destruction in 1994, with store events, promotional giveaways, and a 25th Anniversary promotional edition of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1 with a new cover by Mignola. Other promotional materials will include a Hellboy Tattoo Sheet, a Right Hand of Doom bookmark, a window cling, and open/close sign, a new folded version of the double-sided Hellboy poster and Mignolaverse timeline unveiled at New York Comic Con. Dark Horse will offer retailers backlist sale pricing to stock up for the event. Qualifying retailers who take advantage of the backlist promotion will be entered to win a special prize pack from Dark Horse.
