An intergalactic evil hides as a seemingly ordinary family in Marvel’s Meet the Skrulls. The first issue of the five-issue miniseries from writer Robbie Thompson (Spider-Man / Deadpool) and artist Niko Henrichon (Doctor Strange) will be on sale March 6, with the second to follow on March 20. Marcos Martin covers the regular issues. Henrichon, Declan Shalvey, and Skottie Young provide variant covers for Meet the Skulls #1, which also features a movie variant.

Meet the Skrulls centers on the Warners, a typical American family. Carl works at Stark Industries, Madison works in a senator’s office, and Jennifer and Alice are high school students. But all four are shape-shifting Skrulls, paving the way for an invasion.

The series will be on stands just before Captain Marvel hits the silver screen, introducing the MCU to the Skrull scourge, their war with the Kree, and our greatest hope, Carol Danvers (see “New 'Captain Marvel' Trailer”). The Skrulls will also make an appearance on a series of variants in February (see “Skrulls Invade Marvel Comic Covers”).
