DC Entertainment has announced that it will debut a new logo for Detective Comics with issue #1001, which streets on April 10.   The new logo replaces a version that’s been in use since 2003, one of over a dozen logos used in the title’s 80-year history.

The new trade dress for Detective is only one of many elements of DC’s celebration of Batman's 80th anniversary (see "DC Plans Global Celebration Events for Batman’s 80th Anniversary").
