Days of Wonder will release Deep Blue later this year.
Deep Blue is a family-friendly, push-your-luck and engine-building Days of Wonder game that has players diving for wealth and fortune. Players have to collect the right crew of divers, sailors and archaeologists all while racing to claim the best dive spots at wreck sites or scouting the seas to discover new wrecks. Deep Blue contains a main game board, 10 plastic boats, 50 crew member cards, 5 plastic treasure chests, 5 player boards, a Dive Site board, 120 Victory Point tokens, 15 Wreck tiles, a Diving Bell pawn, 31 plastic gems, a cloth bag, 6 starter bonus tokens, and 7 Captain’s Log scenario cards.
Deep Blue is for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 45 minutes. MSRP is $49.99 and the game is expected to release in October.
Last month, Days of Wonder’s parent company, Asmodee Entertainment, announced a reality show based on Days of Wonder flagship Ticket to Ride (see "‘Ticket to Ride’ Reality Show").
