Pegasus Spiele will release their Playtest Guide for Talisman Adventures: Fantasy Roleplaying Game (see "'Talisman Adventures: The Fantasy Role Playing Game'") at Gen Con 2019. The Playtest Guide will then be made available to retailers, through wholesalers, in September.

The Playtest Guide gives players a preview of the full game, allowing for creation of characters up to third level. The game provides history of the Realm of Talisman, and background on the people and monsters that roam the landscape. Players will also receive information as to how to give feedback on the book and get their names listed in the final copy.

The suggested retail price for the Playtest Guide is $9.99.
