On August 13, White Wizard will release the first expansions for its character-building card game Sorcerer, along with additional player boards, dice, and battlefield cards, available separately.

The three new expansion packs each add a new character building option for Sorcerer players, which can be combined with the deck modules from the basic game to open up additional strategy options.  The three packs are:

Virgiliu Character Pack, MSRP $5.99, adds a pyromancer to the game with 11 cards and 1 standee.

Sylvanei Lineage Pack, MSRP $9.99, features the fey-like Sylvanei with 26 cards and 10 tokens.

Bloodsoaked Fjord Domain Pack, MSRP $4.99, brings trolls from Scandinavia with 11 cards.

The Sorcerer Extra Player Board allows an additional player to join the game.  Two Extra Player Boards can be used to increase the player count to 6.  MSRP is $4.99.

Rounding out the new additions is the Egyptian Battlefield Set, which introduces three new battlefield locations for players to compete over, each with its own unique special effect that alters the rules of the game.  MSRP $8.99.

To speed up games with more players, White Wizard is offering two sets of dice for the game.  The Sorcerer Extra Dice set comes with 7 16mm Battle Dice and 1 20mm Energy Die, with an MSRP of $5.99.  The Sorcerer Extra Dice:  Large set includes the same mix of dice in a larger size, with 7 20mm Battle Dice and 1 20mm Energy Die at an MSRP of $6.99.
