Ares Games has revealed details on upcoming releases Quartermaster General WW2 Second Edition and Waste Knights: Second Edition.

Originally released in 2014 by Griggling Games, Quartermaster General WW2 Second Edition (see "‘Quartermaster General’ Transfers to Ares") puts players in control of one or more countries for either the Axis or Allied Powers.  Each major power has a unique deck to command their forces, represented by wooden army and navy pieces.  The game will include a game board, rules booklet, 216 cards, 33 wooden Army pieces, 22 wooden Navy pieces, 4 Victory Point markers, 1 Game Round marker and 2 Supply Source markers.

Quartermaster General WW2 Second Edition is for 2-6 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 90 minutes.  The game will release in October; however no MSRP has been announced at this time.

In Waste Knights: Second Edition, players find themselves in a post-apocalyptic dystopia set in Australia.  Each play-through of Waste Knights is based on a mission from the Book of Missions that can either be narrative driven or a Sandbox Mission, where players are thrown into a conflict.  Players travel around a modular board in their vehicles, trying to manage their resources and survive.  The game includes 5 32mm Knight miniatures, 5 Knight character sheets, 4 Vehicle sheets, 1 game board, rule book, Adventure Guide, Book of Tales, 171 cards, 150 tokens, special markers, Time Marker, 1st Player Marker, 36 plastic Resource markers, 8 custom dice, 4 plastic colored discs, 4 reference sheets.

Waste Knights is for 1 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays 120 minutes.  The game was Kickstarted by Galakta Games in early 2019 and raised over $300,000 from more than 4,000 backers.  Retail release date and MSRP have yet to be announced.
