Marvel Heroclix: Captain America and the Avengers will feature sub-themes for Marvel teams such as the Avengers, Thunderbolts, S.H.I.E.L.D., Stark Industries, and the Masters of Evil. ClixFx bases will be included with Chase figures as well as a Shifting Focus trait featured with Iron Man. The set showcases mainstay MCU characters: Nick Fury, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Pepper Potts, and Ultron. It also includes characters never-before featured as Heroclix like Singularity, Roz Solomon, Jolt, Azzuri, Arno Stark, Blackheath, and Robbie Reyes.
Wizkids has, thus far, released the following information for individual product types for the new Heroclix line:
Marvel Heroclix: Captain America and the Avengers Booster Brick. The Booster Brick contain 10 booster packs, and each booster comes with five standard-sized figures. The booster set contains figures that come in following rarities: 17 Common figures (plus 1 Prime), 17 Uncommon figures (plus 1 Prime), 17 Rare figures (plus 1 Prime), 17 Super Rare figures (plus 1 Prime), 6 Chase figures (Chase figure comes with a ClixFX base), and 1 Ultra Chase figure. It will retail for $129.90 per unit with six units in a case.
Marvel Heroclix: Captain America and the Avengers Dice and Token Pack. It will include two custom dice with a Avengers/Captain America icon and six action tokens that will have bystanders on the back. MSRP is $9.99.
Marvel Heroclix: Captain America and the Avengers Release Day OP Kit. The OP Kit is for running release day events, and it will be available to retailers who have demonstrated Heroclix event performance. The OP Kit comes with three Limited Edition Baron Zemo Heroclix figures with character card, five copies of a double-sided map, and an instruction sheet. It is not for resale, and verified retailers may order up to a maximum of three OP kits.
