Bellwether Games will release Freshwater Fly, a strategic fly fishing board game, into retail stores in November.

In Freshwater Fly, players will set off, armed with only a rod, a reel, and a bevy of flies, to a mountain stream that is teeming with fish. It is a dice-drafting game where players select dice from a pool, and then take actions such as casting, reeling, and increasing their finesse. This game features a unique mechanic system that simulates the actions involved in freshwater fly fishing through use of reel dial and wooden tokens. The overall goal of the game is catch different species of fish, which are worth variable numbers of victory points, and become player with the most points at the end of the game.

Freshwater Fly is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 40 to 90 minutes. The listed MSRP for this product is $49.99.
