Oni Press has announced two kids graphic novels for Fall, from Caitlin Rose Boyle, and from Michael Sweater and Rachel Dukes.
Frankie and the Creepy Cute Critters, by Caitlin Rose Boyle, tells the story of Frankie Fairy, who’s at a new school where the other fairy kids think she’s the creepy one. The 40-page, 6" x 9" hardcover will carry a $12.99 cover price. Boyle collaborated on Jonesy (with Sam Humphries), which made the YALSA Top 10 Graphic Novels for Teens list (see "YALSA Releases 2018 Top 10 Graphic Novels for Teens List").
Wizerd! And the Potion of Dreams!, by Michael Sweater and Rachel Dukes, tells the story of a garden-tending wizard and a small warrior princess who seek the ingredients of a wish-granting potion. The story features ransacking goblins, a too-noble knight, an evil wych, and the warrior’s endless appetite. This 144-page, 7" x 10" hardcover will retail for $14.99.
