Barrucci has been in the business 37 years, beginning as a convention dealer, then as the founder of signed books and collectibles company Dynamic Forces, and in 2004, as founder of Dynamite Entertainment, which entered the comics publishing business with his first comic, Army of Darkness.
“It’s an honor to be chosen this year to be the keynote speaker at ComicsPRO, such an integral event to our industry that we all love so much.,” Barrucci said. He attributed recent success for the company to “…stellar work from our creators and staff, trust from retailers and fans, and additional important industry factors that I hope to discuss at the conference with peers.”
ComicsPRO Executive Director Marco Davanzo shared his thoughts on Barrucci’s upcoming address. “He’s been in the business for 37 years and has a great knowledge of the comics industry,” he said. “His enthusiasm is second to none. And he’s worked as both a retailer and a publisher. I’m really looking forward to his speech.”
