Kate Spade New York is launching a new collection of handbags, small leather goods, accessories and other products tied to Archie characters Betty and Veronica, the companies announced.  Products under the license will include handbags, tote bags, backpacks, keychains, pin badges, wallets, pouches, and coin purses.  The collection will be sold at Kate Spade New York Outlet stores.

The deal was licensed by Archie Comics licensing agent King Features Syndicate.  Other recent licenses include Betty & Veronica x Torrid x Project Runway All-Stars apparel; apparel from Bioworld and Philcos; figures from Funko, Super7, and Icon Heroes; and slot machines from Zynga.
