Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group revealed Girl Haven, a middle-grade LGBTQIA+ fantasy graphic novel, for release in February 2021.

Girl Haven tells the story of Ash, who's mother left home and never returned, leaving a shed of curiosities related to an all-girl fantasy world called Koretris behind.  The adventure began when Ash decided to have friends from the school's Pride Club over, and they managed actually to enter the world of Koretis by casting a spell.  The group goes on to explore this magical realm of human-sized talking animals, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery on their way.

This book is a collaboration between Lilah Sturges, author of Lumberjanes (see "‘Lumberjanes’ Ongoing Series"), illustrator Meaghan Carter, creator of  webcomics Take Off and Godslave, and letterer Joamette Gil. Sturges stated the following about the new project:

"Girl Haven is the book I wish I'd had when I was in middle school.  The book is for anyone who loves a fantasy adventure, but it has a special message for young trans kids-that they are okay, that they are allowed to be who they are and also to be confused sometimes, and that they are worthy of love and friendship."

This new paperback will retail for $14.99.
