The Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group will launch Orcs in Space, a new comic series co-created by Rick and Morty co-creator (and actor) Justin Roiland, on July 7. Other creators on the series include writers Michael Tanner, Rashad Gheith, and Abed Gheith, writer-illustrator Francois Vigneault, and colorists DJ Chavis and Dave Pender.
The story will follow three inept orcs as they steal a spaceship they do not understand to escape from bureaucrats from StarBleep who come to their planet looking for them.
The first issue is 44 pages, and will feature variant covers by Nicole Goux, Francois Vigneault, and Justin Roiland.
Oni-Lion Forge has also published Rick and Morty comics and graphic novels, which are perennial best-sellers (see "Full Year 2020 NPD BookScan – Top 20 Author, Manga, Superhero Graphic Novels").
