DC Comics will participate in Free Comic Book Day 2021, ICv2 has learned, with an announcement coming soon.  A full FCBD event is planned for 2021, although it’s delayed from early May until August due to the pandemic (see "FCBD 2021 Gold Sponsor Comics Announced").  Both Gold and Silver Sponsor titles have been announced (see "FCBD 2021 Silver Sponsor Titles"), with the exception of DC.

The event will now have a full complement of major comic publishers for 2021, the 20th year of the event (the first event was held on May 4, 2002, see “Free Comic Book Day on May 4”).

The Skottie Young art for this year’s poster and t-shirt was revealed last week.
