Fantasy cover artist Robin Wood passed away on April 19. Wood was most noted for creating painted covers of Dragon magazine between 1983 and 1993, and portraits of characters from Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. Wood's game industry credits include multiple TSR D&D covers, including Ravenloft: Van Richten's Guide to Ghosts, Treasures of Greyhawk, and Dragonlance: Time of the Dragon; and Monsters of Myth and Legend by Mayfair Games.

Robin Wood was 67 years of age.
