Genesis: Battle of Champions TCG is a tactical collectible card game where players take on the role of a champion in a duel. Gameplay occurs on a gridded board where players attack, cast spells, and summon creatures in order to attempt reduce their opponent's life points to zero. The upcoming Jaelara 2E booster release is a reprint set that features the best cards from Genesis's first sets: Beta, Welcome to Jaelara, and Raze sets.

This set introduces two rare packs, which also may contain a third rare as an epic card, and foil cards. The rarities for this set breakdown as follows: 12 Champions, 33 Rares, 44 Uncommons, 60 Commons, and 4 Aura Cards. Each booster comes with 2 Rares, 4 Uncommons, 8 Commons, and a Champion/Token card. 1 in 8 booster packs will replace an Uncommon card with an Epic Rare and 1 in 17 packs will replace a Common card with a foil. Display boxes come with 24 booster packs.
