After a run that lasted almost 60 years, Doctor Strange’s adventures will come to an end (at least for now) in the five-issue limited series The Death of Doctor Strange, by writer Jed MacKay and artist Lee Garbett.
The seemingly invincible Doctor Strange meets his match when new villains arrive on the scene with intentions of conquering the Earth, and his sudden and untimely death opens up the questions not only of who killed him but of who will defend the Earth now that he is gone. The first issue of The Death of Doctor Strange, with cover art by Kaare Andrews, will be released in September.
