Days of Wonder will release Ticket to Ride: Track Switcher, a new Ticket to Ride solo adventure, this October.
The early 1900s were the Age of the Locomotive and railways connected every major city in the country. Trains were more popular than ever as people could travel greater distances in a matter of a few days. Railyards were continuously abuzz with activity as engineers and yard workers scrambled to move cars onto their departure tracks. Players take on the essential role of the Railyard Manager, ensuring that every train departs on time. As the Railyard Manager, players will need to direct locomotives and shift cars to their correct position as the clock is ticking.
Ticket to Ride: Track Switcher is a solo experience based on the classic rail game Ticket to Ride. The game features 40 puzzles for players to solve in the fewest moves possible. Track Switcher includes a foldout case and board for easy set up and travel. The game also includes a Railyard Card, 2 Locomotives, 5 Train cards (in different colors), 2 Broken Tracks, and a Rulebook.
Ticket to Ride: Track Switcher is for one player, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. The game will retail for $25.00 upon release.
Asmodee USA had previously announced Ticket to Ride Europe: 15th Anniversary (see "‘Ticket to Ride Europe: 15th Anniversary’").
