Genius Games will release Cellulose: A Plant Cell Biology Game into U.S. retail. They also unveiled First in Flight, a game chronicling man's first attempts at flying.

Cellulose: A Plant Cell Biology Game is a worker placement, engine-building game where players compete over the resources used to make photosynthesis occur. It is a sequel and counterpart game to 2017's Cytosis (see "'Cytosis'"). The goal of the game is for players to create an engine to produce carbohydrates and build the cell wall to make their plant grow and score points. The game has limited actions so players must use their proteins, hormones, and cell component cards in the most efficient way possible to diversify their strategies and win.

It is a standalone game for one to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45 to 90 minutes. The Standard Edition's MSRP is between $45.00 and $50.00.

Genius Games also unveiled First in Flight. In this game, players can assume the roles of various characters from the attempted first flight Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It's a deck-builder where players draw their hands cards and try to assemble the makings of a successful flight out of the cards in their deck. Players keep tuning their deck of cards with positive flight cards as the game goes on, and try to repair the problems they've already encountered in previous hands. The goal of the game is to sustain the longest flight with their deck.

This game will be releasing in Q2 or Q3 of 2022.
