The deluxe hardcover collects not only the original wedding story from 1987 but also the version that ran in the Spider-Man newspaper comic, as well as an alternate wedding story. The issues included in the Gallery Edition are Amazing Spider-Man #290-292, What If #20-21, Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21, Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #7, Marvel Saga: The Official History of the Marvel Universe #22, and Not Brand Echh #6.
The original wedding saga was written by David Michelinie and Jim Shooter and penciled by Paul Ryan, with a cover by John Romita Sr. The other stories in the Gallery Edition also include work by writers Christopher Priest, Danny Fingeroth, Peter David, Gary Friedrich, and Stan Lee and pencillers John Romita Jr., Alex Saviuk, Paul Ryan, Alan Kupperberg, Jim Valentino, Marie Severin, and Larry Lieber, among others. The cover of the Gallery Edition is by John Romita Sr.
The 296-page hardcover will have a trim size of 9 x 13 inches and will be released on August 31 with an MSRP of $44.99.
