In The Shapers of Gaia, players take on the roles of shapers that have emerged from a vault after millennia to restore the world of Gaia. Players work with a Caretaker robot to earn Prestige while they rebuild the biomes of the land and rejuvenate the species that once roamed the land. To expedite these tasks, players will accumulate Nutrients and Energy to help the biomes grow faster. Also, each of the six shapers have unique skill sets that give them different advantages during play.  The player that accumulates the most Prestige (VP) wins the game.

The game box includes a game board, 30 Biome tiles, 7 Starting Biome tiles, 6 Shaper boards, 3 Resource tracks, 3 Shaper figures, a Caretaker figure, 30 Animal figures, 15 Resource markers, 18 DNA tokens, 45 Prestige (VP) tokens, 30 Toxicity tokens, 45 Species cards, 9 Special Species cards, 3 Behavior cards, a score pad, and a rules booklet. This game is for two to three players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. It will retail for $44.99.
