In Enchanters, players are out to save villages from monsters. To accomplish this task, they will need to create artifacts and upgrade them using cards from a communal pool generated by shuffled-up kingdom decks. Players will draft various cards and gain temporary and permanent bonuses from them.
Points are scored for defeating monsters in combat. Monsters have a health value, which needs to be overcome by the player's attack to defeat the monster. Once a monster is defeated, the player takes the monster card as a trophy. The game ends when the last card is taken or discarded from the pool, and the player with the most points wins.
The retail version's game box comes with 8 Kingdom Decks, 4 sets of Fists of Enchanting, a Mega Crystal card, 23 Village cards, 4 Attack and Defense trackers, 4 Help cards, 87 tokens, a Quick Setup Guide leaflet, and a rulebook. This game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30-60 minutes. This game will retail for $35.
