Catalyst Game Labs is offering Michael Stackpole’s BattleTech novel series Blood of Kerensky with three premium hardback volumes which will release May 3.
The Blood of Kerensky trilogy chronicles the invasion of the Inner Sphere by the mysterious and seemingly unstoppable forces of the Clans. The story begins in BattleTech: Lethal Heritage, which describes the first encounters between the technologically advanced Clan Mechs and the forces of the Federated Commonwealth and the Draconis Combine.
Blood Legacy picks up the story as the Clans press towards the homeworld of House Kurita as the leader of House Davion considers taking advantage of the invasion to destroy his family’s rivals once and for all. Meanwhile, the semi-mystic ComStar plots to betray the Inner Sphere to the Clans for its own ends.
In Lost Destiny, the Clans approach Terra itself, and only the unproven forces of ComStar stand in their way, the other forces of the Inner Sphere having been destroyed in the onslaught.
The Blood of Kerensky series was first penned by best-selling author Stackpole in 1988-1991, and inspired the BattleTech: The Animated Series. The three books will be offered separately at MSRP $14.99 each.
In March, Catalyst conducted a multi-million Kickstarter campaign for the BattleTech: Mercenaries expansion (see “Adepticon 2023 News: Catalyst Launches ‘BattleTech: Mercenaries’ Kickstarter”).
