Leviathans: The Great War was crowd-funded in 2022, raising $623,103 from 2,163 backers (about $288 per backer). It is a new edition of the Leviathans steampunk airship combat game that was released back in 2012 (see "Catalyst's 'Leviathans'"). The game takes place on an alternate timeline where great flying warships battle each other for air supremacy. The game uses a modular dice system of color-coded dice and record-keeping cards to play. The new edition adds new ships, factions, and abilities to the game.

The game is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90 minutes.
