A new anthology of science fiction and fantasy comics by Black LGBTQIA+ creators has launched on Zoop. We Belong, edited by William O. Tyler and Viktor Kerney, is targeted at the same audience as Shook (see “Southern Gothic Horror Anthology”) and the Eisner-nominated No Straight Lines. The campaign includes a retailer package of 5 copies of the 100+ page anthology for $70; the price for a single copy varies between $25 and $35 depending on the reward tier chosen.
In addition to the editors, contributors to the anthology include Aimee Campbell, Ajuan Mance, Asia Bey, C.A.P. Ward, E.B. Hutchins, Erika Hardison and Benny Hollman, Gaia WXYZ, Gerald Brandon Bell, Iggy "Eggs" Morris, Jay Hero, Jazmine Joyner and Sam Wade, Jezza Smiles, Joe Philips, Jordan Green, Mihael B. Peralta Myers, Nick Orr, Paul Kellam, Rupert Kinnard, Trevor Adams, Tulani Kiara, Valerie Complex, and Victor Hodge. The project is a joint venture between comics publisher Stacked Deck Press and nonprofit Prism Comics.
