Indie Boards & Cards is offering The Sherlock Files: Sinister Secrets, the seventh volume in the mystery card game series, with release set for Q4.
The Sherlock Files: Sinister Secrets offers up three all-new cases for players to solve, inspired by the adventures of the great detective. Players must try to figure out which of their clues are important for the case they are solving and share them with the other players as they work together to uncover the plot, using an easy-to-learn game system.
The three cases in this version of the game feature a stolen diamond necklace taken from a Hollywood party, a man who was murdered in front of his mother, and a haunted hotel room that seems to kill its guests.
Sinister Secrets is intended for 1 to 8 players, ages 14 and up. Cases take about an hour to solve. Created by Ricard Ibanez, Marti Lucas, and Josep Izquierdo. MSRP is $24.99.
Indie Boards & Cards perennial seller Coup sat comfortably on ICv2’s list of top card and dice games in the spring (see “Board and Card Game Sales Softer”).
