November 18 marks the launch of "Comic Book U," an all-day seminar taught by Howard Chaykin (American Flagg!) and Mark Waid (Kingdom Come). Limited to 120 attendees, the event will cover the process and craft of creating comics.
Held at UCLA's Ackerman Hall, the event is priced at $150, which includes the learning sessions, catered lunch, take-home supplies, and a concluding networking event.
The event will also be offered at some comic conventions, including the Albuquerque Comic Con and various Galaxycons.
