Bushiroad has announced more Cardfight!! Vanguard releases for early 2024 including a collaboration with Touken Ranbu ONLINE and special PR cards featuring BanG Dream! characters. The company also offered more details about the upcoming Flight of Chakrabarthi set, featuring a collaboration with Mushiking: King of Beetles.
The Touken Ranbu ONLINE 2023 set is based on a browser game from Nitroplus and DMM Games that launched world-wide in 2021. It casts players as saniwa, sages who can animate legendary swords as young men to confront the forces of evil.
Popy and Rose, two “Yumenokesshou” AI singing synthesizer characters from BanG Dream!, will appear on PR cards on offer at the Singapore Anime Festival Asia. The cards will later be offered worldwide.
Release dates for those titles were not announced.
Booster Pack 13: Flight of Chakrabarthi, set for a December 8 launch (see “Bushiroad Will Launch ‘Flight of Chakrabarthi’”) will include cards designed in collaboration with Sega’s collectible card game Mushiking: King of Beetles, with a number of cards featuring beetles from that game.
Flight of Chakrabarthi will follow the Malevolent Masques set (see “Bushiroad Unveils ‘Cardfight!! Vanguard: Malevolent Masques Supply Gift Set’”) and proceed Lyrical Monasterio: Trick or Treat (see “‘Cardfight!! Vanguard’ Gets Spooky”).
The company has also teased upcoming Weiss Schwarz releases (see “Bushiroad Shares ‘Weiss Schwarz’ Plans”).
