Chaosium will release a new edition of Daniel Harms’ Encyclopedia Cthulhiana: A Guide to Lovecraftian Horror, as a full-color hardback, the company announced. Chaosium released the first edition of the volume in 1994, which won an Origins Award the following year. An updated second edition was released in 1998, and a third edition was released by Elder Signs Press in 2008.
Like the earlier editions, this new, updated edition will feature a comprehensive alphabetical listing of entities, cults, and lore of the Cthulhu mythos, drawing from the works of H.P. Lovecraft and other authors who developed and expanded the mythos over the past century, including Ramsey Campbell, Robert Bloch, Stephen King, and others, and from the Call of Cthulhu RPG, which has been published since 1981.
Release date has not yet been announced.
