The new event series begins as tournaments run at the FLGS level. Winners of in-store events will be invited to the Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament Wish Tournament, which is an online webcam tournament occurring on March 9th and 10th. It is the first major tournament in the new Standard format, where players can use any cards from the UniVersus CCG.
The top four players from the event will receive "Top 4" stamped exclusive versions of each of the four chrome rares from the Dark Tournament set. The winner of the tournament will get a chance to choose from three prizes: receiving one of every retail product released by UVS Games in 2024; design their own UniVersus card; or to attend Gen Con 2024 as a VIP (without travel or lodging), receive free entry into all UniVersus events there, get every product for sale by UVS Games at Gen Con, and have dinner with the UVS team.
