Devir Games will release Sand, a new Eurogame designed by Ariel Di Constanzo and Javier Pelizzari, into retail in May 2024.

In Sand, players take on the roles of travelers that are transporting goods across a desert filled with half-ruined ancient cities where the last human communities survive by foraging. The travelers carry their goods from community to community on giant caterpillars to help the remaining humans maintain their plant food sources. The game primarily operates on a pick-up-and-deliver mechanism, where players collect goods and then drop them off for gold.

Players also have to care for their caterpillars, which will get bigger as the game goes on, and help them complete objectives more efficiently. They will also be given missions throughout the game as various companions join them. The goal of the game is for players to earn as much gold as possible over the course of six rounds of play.

Sand features illustrations by Mado Pena and Ernest Sala. This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 120 minutes. It will retail for $44.99.

Devir Games will also release Salton Sea, a new worker placement game, into retail (see "'Salton Sea'").
