Games Workshop revealed Death Battletome: Flesh-Eater Courts and Dawnbringers, Book IV: The Mad King Rises, two new books for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, which will head to preorder on February 3, 2024.
Death Battletome: Flesh-Eater Courts offers up background on these ghoulish horrors that believe they are chivalrous warriors. It has a complete rules set, which will allow players to play this army on the battlefield. The book features 27 warscrolls, thematic enhancements, Path to Glory rules, and a gallery of painted miniatures to inspire army paint schemes. There will also be a limited edition of this book available, with a soft-touch cover with gold-foil blocking, gilt page edges, and a red ribbon bookmark, that will be limited to 300 copies.
Dawnbringers, Book IV: The Mad King Rises continues the story of the Twin-tailed Crusade from the previous books of the Dawnbringer series (see "New Season"). The fourth installment adds rules for Ushoran and Sekhar as well as a new Army of Renown, a regiment of renown for Nagash’s mortarchs, the next chapter of the Cities of Sigmar Path to Glory Battlepack, and the Triumph and Treachery returns. This book also comes in a limited edition version, with a soft-touch cover with gold-foil lettering, gilt page edges, and a purple ribbon marker, which will be limited to 300 copies.
