his game was previously announced in October 2023 (see "'Heart of Crown 2E'") and is now slated to hit Kickstarter on February 6, 2024. The second edition of this game features a variety of new bells and whistles, including updated card text and layout from the first edition. Heart of Crown 2E will have new original artwork on every card, and add new cards to the game. The new cards will predominantly be a new Attendant Maid card type, that are Succession cards acquired in Random Market. They can be placed in a players Domain, and give them access to powerful in-game abilities.
Heart of Crown 2E will come in two versions, a gold-foil Jubliee Edition and the regular edition. Japanime will also launch demos of Heart of Crown on the Steam online video game platform so that players can try the game before they pledge. No word on a retailer pledge level has been given as of the publication of this article.
