IMAGE_2}Wizards of the Coast revealed Sheldon's Spellbook, a new Magic: The Gathering - Secret Lair drop set, which will hit preorder from February 26, 2024 to March 24, 2024.
This drop set honors the memory of Sheldon Menery, an influential Level 5 Magic: The Gathering judge who passed away in September 2023 after a seven-year battle with cancer. Menery was known as the Godfather of Commander, as he created the Elder Dragon Highlander format (see "'Magic: The Gathering Commander'") and was one of the founding members of the Commander RC. Sheldon's Spellbook will contain six borderless Magic cards with new artwork, which include Command Tower, Eladamri's Vineyard, Bene Suprimo (Greater Good), Inkshield, Sol Ring, Teferi's Protection, and Sheldon, The Commander (Ruhan of the Fomori). Sales from this drop set will benefit the American Cancer Society.
